Canadian Mezzo-Soprano

Canadian mezzo-soprano Hannah Cole is pursuing her Master of Music in Voice Performance at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she studies with Juliana Gondek. A National Scholar at Western University, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance in 2026 under the guidance of Patricia Green.

Hannah holds Associate Diplomas (ARCT) in both Voice Performance and Piano Performance. She has twice been recognized as a National Gold Medalist through the Royal Conservatory of Music and Conservatory Canada.

​

Her operatic engagements include Dorabella in Così fan tutte (Western University), Hannah After in As One (Nuova Vocal Arts), Lady Bracknell / Gwendolen in Earnest, The Importance of Being (Summer Opera Lyric Theatre), Maggie in The Gift of the Magi (Opera de Metro), Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte (Western University), and Contralto in The Four-Note Opera (Institut Canadien d'Art Vocal).

Hannah's distinctions include the Jacqueline Desmarais Foundation for Young Canadian Opera Singers Award, the Adrienne Pieczonka Award for Vocal Excellence, the Moccio Award for Artistic Excellence, the Heels Family Vocal Award, and the London Opera Guild Scholarship.

As a concert artist, Hannah has appeared with the Tafelmusik Chamber Choir, Magisterra Soloists, National Youth Choir of Canada, Canadian Renaissance Music Summer School, London Opera Guild, Franz Schubert Institut, and Stratford Symphony Orchestra.
